Notes for John Parker: "The Parkers (Elisha and Robert) came (the New World) in 1634, using the seal of John Parker of Sibertswold, Kent, England." Research say that John Parker must of been a wealthy man in order to have a seal. And that for the boys to have used the seal, the father must have died. Did the Mother accompany the boys on the trip? Did they come with Rev Lathrop on the ship Griffin? These questions remain unanswered for the time being.

Notes for Elisha Parker:ELISHA was born in England ci. I630. The records note "The Parkers came (the New World) in 1634, using the seal of John Parker of Sibertswold, Kent, England." We have not found any references to Robert and Elisha's ancestors and the manifest of the ship that brought Rev Lothrop to Scituate is not complete. Elisha emigrated to Barnstable, Massachusetts in 1639, apparently with his brother, Robert Parker and in the company of Rev John Lathrop. March 2008 :there is DNA evidence that Robert is the brother of Elisha. Both Elisha and Robert were in Barnstable contemporarily; both married local girls one year apart. He and ELIZABETH HINCKLY were married 15, July, 1657, She was the daughter of Samuel and Sarah and Hinckley, and the sister of Governor Thomas Hinckley of the Plymouth Colonies.Elisha and Elizabeth moved to Richmond County, Staten Island, N.Y. with their two sons and daughter sometime between 1666 and 1669. In 1675 Elisha received a land grant of 187 acres on the highway leading to Piscataway, across the North (Hudson) River in New Jersey. Shortly after they moved to the land, which area became Woodbridge Township, N.J. with three sons and a daughter, leaving one son behind in a grave. Another son was born in Woodbridge, but did not live. His mother, Elizabeth, died with him on 1 May, 1676.

ELIZABETH HINCKLEY is the daughter of Samuel Hinckley & Sarah Soule. She was born on 06 Sep 1635 in Scituate, MA; Christening 6 sept 1635 in Scituate, MA. Her death on 01 May 1676 in Woodbridge, New Jersey (Died along with new born - Daniel).

Notes for Elisha Parker, Jr: Was a "weaver" and in 1701 was "merchant of Woodbridge" . He was a Captain in the Provincial Forces and attached to the Commissariot, being in charge of furnishing supplies for the troops engaged on the Canadian frontier. About 1712 or 1715 he removed to Perth Amboy. He was unmarried.

THOMAS PARKER-3 (Elisha Parker-2, John Parker-1). He was born on 15 May 1658 in Barnstable, Mass.

Notes for Thomas Parker: Thomas and his family removed from Barnstable to Richmond County, Stat Island, NY between 1663 and 1669 and in 1675 moved to Woodbridge, NJ. In October 1680, Elisha gave his son Thomas 60 acres of upland and 15 acres of Raritan meadow, Thomas, although presumed to have lived in Woodbridge before his marriage, evidently removed to Staten Island (Richmond Country) and was residing there in 1687 when records show he sold land in Woodbridge. All the children were born on Staten Island.

Notes for Joseph Parker:Joseph Parker was a carpenter from Shrewsbury, NJ. He may have served in Emerick's Chauseurs. His wife, Elizabeth and four children were all passengers on the CAMEL arriving BH 1783. Grantee, Lot #29, 10A Beaver Harbour.

Notes for Richard Parker: Ri chard was on the CAMEL muster roll 21 Aug 1783, embarked 18 Sept 1783 disembarked with Anna (Elisha's wife?), Thomas (Benjamin's son), Elizabeth (Benjamin's daughter) and two Rachels (Benjamin's wife and John's wife). The children, Thomas and Elizabeth would have been ages 6 and 7.

Notes for John Parker:John was on CAMEL nuster 21 Aug 1783 and disembarked at Beaver arbour 18 Sept 1783. He was on the list at Beaver Harbour 1784. A document 20 NOV 1792, John and Richard leased land from David Owen on Campobello Island (BK B pg 262 - St Andrew NB). The land on Harbor de Lute. A document (B 650) Richard, brother of the late John Parker, the land to Thomas Parker 1798. Document B-618, Rachel widow of John to David Owen - a Richard payoff note of 20 Nov 1792.

Notes for Johnathan Parker, Jr: They lived in Perth Amboy, N.J until these loyalist families were sent to New York during the closing days of the Revolutionary War, where they were removed to New Brunswidk, arriving Sept 1783 on the ship Camel. Jonathan Parker - there are two listed on the CAMEL - They were listed as a men alone on the CAMEL muster. Jonathan Sr. was a very old man and did not live long after coming to NB. Jonathan and his wife(s) had 10 children of which we have five names.

Notes for Frances Parker: Frances married Christopher Young, a young man in the St. John Fencibles. His father was George Young, a Long Island loyalist who had bought a large property in St. John and in 1816 gave it to his son Christopher. Christopher sold out in 1822 and went to Campobello with his wife.

Notes for Benjamin Parker: First son of Jonathan Parker Jr. and Mary Patterson Parker. He was born in Campobello Island, New Brunswick in 1788. Benjamin married twice and raised two families. He first married Maria Wilson, and after she died married Susan Herson. Benjamin bought Parker's Island and here raised his second family.

Notes for George Edwin Parker: Son of Benjamin Parker and Susan Herson, George was born on Parker's Island in 1834. George married Eliza Morrison in 1858. She was born 1837, daughter of John Morrison and Abigail Pendleton Morrision. They raised ten children and emigrated with eight of them to Carver, Massachusetts and vicinity. Death certificate for George say buried at the "Church cemetary in Plympton". George E. is buried in Hillcrest Cemetary, Plympton, MA.

ELIZA ANN MORRISON is the daughter of John Morrison & Abigail Pendleton. She was born on 05 Mar 1837 in New Brunswick. She died on 18 May 1915 in Age 76y 2m 13d ; Died of Mitral regurgitation.

Notes for Warren Wesley Parker: Warren was born on Parker's Island, N.B. 7 March 1864. He was the son of George Parker and Eliza Morrison Parker. Warren Parker emmigrated to Carver in 1887. Warren married Selena Cartherine Gross, born 24 July, 1874 at Eagle Head, Queens County, N.S. Married 25 Oct. 1890 in Carver MA. and they moved to Pleasant St Plympton where their four oldest children were born (see 1900 census). They moved to Crescent St, Plympton where six more children were born and Selena died 28 Feb 1918. In 1926 the home on Crescent St burned. Kenneth Bourne, husband of Irene Parker built a five room cottage to replace it. At that time only Warren and daughters Olive and Barbara were at home. In 1931 Theodore Parker and his family moved into this house. Warren moved to a two room house on Center St across from Bonny's Pond and the two girls had married and moved.


SELENA CATHERINE GROSS is the daughter of George Robert Gross, Jr & Mary Jane Wagner. She was born on 24 Jul 1874 in Beach Meadows Liverpool Cty Nova Scotia, Canada.
