I am the Grandson of Elizabeth Caroline Parker Semm, of Nebraska. I have been researching my family tree for the past several months and I believe my grandma was a decendent of Elisha Parker.

You have a wonderful site here. I can't imagine all the hard work and effort you've put into this!! I got here by searching for more information on William Wallace Parker, m. Hulda Sophia Cushman. I am decended through their son, Horace Fulton. If you guys have anything, I'd love to hear from you, or if you would like what Parker data I have, too! Jaymi =)

I'm trying to learn more about Palatinate family history. My 5th GreatGrandfather Johan Georg Reichwein came to America on 5 Sept. 1751.The passenger list shows no place of residence. What I would like to know is how do I go about finding this info and what sources are there online or through Family History Centers. Thank you for your help SGT Ralph Richwine

the furthest i have been able to trace back my family tree is to my great grandfather his name was Samuel Parker and his wife was named sophia i do not know her maiden name. They settled in Culross township, Ontario Canada I have been told that they voyaged here from England to become Farmers. I am a descendent from Charles M. Parker born 8 Nov 1856 in Campobello, Charlotte, New Brunswick. He is shown to be in Missouri in the U.S. Census of 1880 married to Mary Palestine Mayo. I am trying to trace back from Charles. I have donated my DNA to Ancestry.com if it can be of any value. My surname was Wilson. Any information on Charles M. Parker would be greatly appreciated.

I am related to the Parkers in Minnesota. My father was born a Parker, however, his mother died very young and he was adopted at age 1. So I don't know much about the name or family history.

The family members that we know can't seem to agree on the origin of the surname... whether its English or German. There seems to be a lot of Parkers from the UK. I've seen little evidence that the name is German in origin.

Anyone know for sure?

Hi Glenn,

Dave and I returned to MA a couple of years ago and I finally found the linkage to the immigrant Parker ancestry. There is an Elisha in there but it doesn't appear to be related to yours.
