My maiden name is Parker and when I started my family tree research in about 2005 I managed to contact several people with connections to my Parkers and found that many of mine came from Littleham, Devon and East Budleigh Devon. Some of my names are Josiah George Parker (he dropped the Josiah later on), George Argentum Parker, Joseph Warren Parker.

I am looking for information regarding the ancestral home in Ireland of my great, great grandparents Terrence and Mary (Spollen) Parker. The only reference that I have is that of "Lisdoughan, Pigeon's P.O., Athlone, Ireland", which is given as "the family home" of Thomas Parker, 4th son of Thomas and Ann (Spollen) Parker. My grandparent Terrence Parker was brother to Thomas Parker. Mary Spollen and Ann Spollen were sisters also. Any information would be helpful.

-- Required --This site has a lot of information on the surname Parker. I have always wanted to know the Parker family history, but I don't know how to begin. My grandparents are Robert Parker and Mae Duer. From what my Aunt Jean Parker (father's sister) told me we were Pennsylvania Dutch. We were also aristocracy in England. And when I was a child I know Jean Parker was the oldest living relative that inherited land in England. She was financially unable to take on the care of this land, so she sold the land. And that is the extent of the Parker family history that I know. I am really interested in finding where I came from in the Parker family tree.

My father's mother was Velma Owen Parker. Her father was Robert Thomas Parker.

Missouri seems to have been their area.

Birth and death records are difficult to find for my Parkers. Hoping to go at it from history and forward.

Nice site. Thank-you.

Through our mother (nee Parker), we trace directly back to Robert (via David/Daniel/James/James/James/Charles). Our extensive documentation of the line owes credit to our grandfather's genealogy work, plus that of a cousin who corresponded extensively with Maclean, author of the NEHGR article "Robert Parker of Barnstable". We were likewise "bitten by the bug" and have worked out our other lines as well.

I can trace my lineage back to David and Abigail Burrows Parker. David had a brother Oliver and a sister Susan. Susan married Geroge Burrows, Abigail's brother.

I am trying to find proof of the three Parkers as siblings of one father.

I am trying to get back into my Parker line. I am seeking information about the parents of siblings: Oliver, David, and Susan Parker from Massachusetts in the early 1800. Oliver was born in 1794 in Mass, died in 1831 in Pontiac Michigan. David was born 5/10/1798 in Mass and died in 1853 in Michigan. Susan was born in 1800 Mass or Vermont.

David married Abigail Burrows in Whitestown NY in 1823. Their children were Joshua, John, David, Elvira and Henry.

I am searching for my great-grandfather, Charles Edward Parker. I know he was born in 1861 in Nova Scotia but where and who his parents are I do not know. He married Frances Jane Miller and he lived in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada. They had 6 sons and one daughter. They are Charles Francis, Hugh Ernest, William Hayden Lewis, Herbert Wesley Mike, Donald Percival, Henry George and Ivy Maude.
Charles died in Winnipeg in 1930 and Frances died in Vancouver in 1940. If anyone knows anything about this Parker family I would appreciate hearing from you as I have hit a brick wall.

Another Olive Here! June T.Parker found me on the Campobello site some years ago. My maiden name is Olive Mitchell Burke. I am descended from James Manning Parker and June said yes indeed we are cousins. So nice to find all of you again after a very long genealogical lull. Sad to see June's death year. Oh how that lady could write and how happy I was to be the recipient of her letters. I treasure them all. Bless you all for the work. The search goes on-O

Hello. I just found this website this afternoon and will be visiting often to see if I can connect (hopefully). My grandmother was Martha Rachel Parker who was born June 29, 1872, in Nova Scotia. She died December 11, 1964, in Massachusetts. She was the daughter of William Francis Parker and Eunice Agnes Burris.
Thank you for the work you have done on this site. It is very informative.

I am the Grandson of Elizabeth Caroline Parker Semm, of Nebraska. I have been researching my family tree for the past several months and I believe my grandma was a decendent of Elisha Parker.
